Born and bred in South Auckland,  I have always had a great interest in fishing and outdoors and as a young kid learnt some valuable skills from my father with many early morning fishing trips on the Manukau Harbor. I brought my first boat at the age of 19 and had many memorable adventures fishing Little Barrier and the Hauraki Gulf. With nearly twenty years service in the bait industry in  2012  launched Jimmy's Bait Co.
